The Las Cruces Police Department’s Community Outreach Team is hosting its next Lunchbox Lemonade Friday at the Plaza de Las Cruces Splash Pad.
The Lunchbox Lemonade series encourages Las Cruces residents of all ages to have lunch, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the Community Outreach Team at an area splash pad. Participants can visit with team members, discuss police matters and share their concerns about public safety while their kids cool off in the splash pad.
Lunchbox Lemonade will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, at the Plaza de Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch. LCPD will provide free popsicles and cool lemonade courtesy of a community partnership with Raising Cane’s restaurant.
The Lunchbox Lemonade series will be held through Aug. 23, 2024, at various splash pads throughout Las Cruces, including:
- July 26, Plaza De Las Cruces Splash Pad, 100 N. Main St.
- Aug 9, Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St.
