The Las Cruces Police Department’s next Bridging the Badge livestream, scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, will discuss what local businesses are proactively doing to improve safety at their properties and for their customers.
Las Cruces Police Department officer Austin Kane will lead a discussion with Luke Gonzales, manager of the Save Mart grocery store on Valley Drive; Vanessa Smith, owner of Nessa’s Café on west Picacho Avenue; and Vic Villalobos, owner of the Las Cruces Doc Diving and K-9 Center on Valley Drive.
Part of the discussion will center on the partnerships that local business proprietors have made to improve the quality of life for their businesses and customers.
The program begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and will be livestreamed on the Las Cruces Police Department’s Facebook page and on the City of Las Cruces’ YouTube channel. Viewers can ask questions via the Facebook live.
LCPD’s Bridging the Badge programs, held monthly, are intended to promote understanding, collaboration, and informed dialogue on important topics with Las Cruces residents.
Each livestream is anticipated to last about one hour. An open and respectful dialogue is encouraged during each program. Bridging the Badge livestreams are held the last Tuesday of each month.
