LAS CRUCES, NM – Early voting has officially concluded, and Doña Ana County is now gearing up for the 2024 General Election on Tuesday, November 5. Early voting numbers show that 48,862 residents cast their ballots during early voting, indicating strong participation in this year’s election.
“We’re thrilled by the early voting numbers and the participation from Doña Ana County residents. We are expecting high turnout on Election Day. Early voting ran smoothly, a testament to the expertise and
dedication of our outstanding election officials and Clerk’s Office staff. We are excited to see Doña Ana County voting on Election Day.” Said Caroline Zamora, Chief Deputy County Clerk.
On Election Day, Dona Ana County Residents will have the final opportunity to cast their ballots at any of the 42 Voting Convenience Centers throughout Doña Ana County. For a complete list of voting locations, visit dacelections.com
Registered voters who requested absentee ballots can still drop off their absentee ballot at one of the nine
(9) secured containers across the county or at any Voting Convenience Center on Election Day.
During the 2020 General Election, 40,237 residents of Doña Ana County participated in early voting, and a total of 82,910 residents voted overall, representing approximately 64% of eligible voters.
Unofficial results for this year’s election will be posted on the New Mexico Secretary of State’s website after 7:00 p.m. on Election Day at sos.nm.gov/election-results-2024. Please note that these results will remain unofficial until State certification.
