LAS CRUCES, NM – Early voting has ended while preparations are underway for the 2024 Primary Election.
Saturday, June 1st was the last day to vote early for the Primary Election. Unofficial participation numbers up to this point reflect approximately 5,501 early ballots cast and 1,972 absentee ballots cast. As of Monday morning, 7.9% of eligible voters have cast their ballot in Doña Ana County.
The last chance to vote for the 2024 Primary Election will be on Election Day on June 4th. 42 locations will be open throughout Doña Ana County. For a full list of all Voting Convenience Centers throughout Doña Ana, visit DACElections.com.
Registered voters who have applied for absentee voting are still able to return their absentee ballot at any of the 9 available Secured Container Locations throughout the county, as well as at any of the Voting Convenience Centers on Election Day. For a list of Secured Container Locations, visit DACElections.com. Voters may track the status of their absentee ballot online at NMVote.org.
Unofficial results for this year’s election will be available after 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, June 4th, on the New Mexico Secretary of State’s website: https://www.sos.nm.gov/election-results-2024/. All results remain unofficial until the state certification at the end of June.
