1. Christmas Assistance
   1. Sign-ups for families in need of assistance for Christmas Gifts for their children at 1590 California Ave, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88001

i.     Starting Tuesday, October 3^rd, 2023 to Friday, October 6^th, 2023 starting at 10a and runs to 6pm

ii.     Starting Monday, October 9^th, 2023 to Friday, October 13^th, 2023 starting at 10a and runs to 6pm

2. Angel Tree Program
   1. This is the program to procure the gifts needed for the families that signed up for Christmas Assistance.

i.     Each tag on the tree at one of our locations throughout the community represent a child that was signed up for assistance this year.

            2. Messila Valley Mall
            3. Walmart
            4. Sam’s Club
            5. Farmer’s Insurance
            6. Rudy’s Bar-B-Que
            7. Rehab Hospital of Southern New Mexico
            8. White Sands Credit Union
3. 8^th Harvest Festival
   1. Sunday, October 22^nd, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm at 1590 California Ave, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88001

i.     Live music, food, games, bounce house, obstacle course, zip line, rock climbing wall, and a bunch of giveaways for kids

4. Trunk O’ Treat
   1. A safe place for kids to “Trick or Treat.”  We partner with Rudy’s Bar-B-Que, Planet Fitness, and The Las Cruces Cruising Council.

i.     Sunday, October 29^th, 2023 6pm to 8pm

5. Red Kettle Kick-Off Banquet
   1. Come celebrate as we kick off the 2023 Red Kettle Campaign to raise money for all the assistance The Salvation Army does for the community.

i.     Thursday, November 9^th, 2023 at 6pm at the Hotel Encanto 705 South Telshor Boulevard, Las Cruces, New Mexico 88011

5. 1. 1. 1. This event is by invitation only.  I am personally inviting each of news outlet to attend this banquet.  Please RSVP to me at Michael.evans@usw.salvationarmy.org
6. Christmas Toy Drive
   1. This is our 6^th annual Christmas Toy Drive.  Every year we partner with The Las Cruces Cruising Council to have a cruise with each participating vehicle donating 2 gifts (1 boy and 1 girl) for the Christmas Angel program.

i.     It’s on Saturday, December 2^nd, 2023 at the old K-Mart parking lot on Bataan Memorial.  The gathering starts at 10:30a with the cruise starting at 11:30am

6. 1. 1. 1. With a police escort (provided by the mayor of Las Cruces Ken Miyagishima) the group travels down Main Street to Water and continues down to Lohman where we make a left hand turn and travel down Lohman to Telshor.  Turning left on Telshor and ending at Rudy’s Bar-B-Que where all the cars are parked for display.
            1. We average approximately 100 to 150 vehicles every year and are projecting around 200 vehicles this year.
            2. Every type of vehicle is welcome.  We have all the local car clubs with low riders, sport cars, exotic cars, side by sides, trucks, motorcycles, and other types of vehicles.
7. Christmas Distribution
   1. Begins on Monday, December 18^th at 10am and runs through Christmas Eve.

i.     This is the time for families that have signed up to come pick up the gifts that the community has donated for families who need assistance this year.
