Two Suspects Indicted In Connection To El Paso Sheriff’s Deputy Murder

A pair of suspects are being indicted in connection to the death of an El Paso County sheriff’s deputy.

Yesterday, 27-year-old Facundo (Fa-soon-do) Chavez was indicted on a capital murder charge. In March, El Paso County sheriff”s Deputy Peter Herrera died when Chavez allegedly shot him during a traffic stop in San Elizario. Arlene Pina, a 20-year-old, was also indicted but her charges are pending.
