Spanish-language broadcast returns for Aggies home opener

For the first time since 2015, there will be a Spanish language broadcast for a New Mexico State football game.

New Mexico State announced on Tuesday that Saturday’s home opener against San Diego State at Aggie Memorial Stadium will broadcast on 96.7 FM in Spanish as part of the Hispanic Heritage Month festivities surrounding the game. Mario Moccia said Saturday’s game is currently the only planned Spanish broadcast for this season, but it has been a goal to connect with the Spanish speaking audience.
