Sandia Labs Getting New Director

Sandia National Laboratories is getting a new director.

James Peery will take the helm January 1st after current director Stephen Younger’s retirement at year’s end. Peery has worked at Sandia and Los Alamos in the past. He comes back to Albuquerque after a stint as Associate Library Director of National Security Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory near Knoxville, Tennessee. Sandia operator and Honeywell subsidiary National Technology and Engineering Solutions says Peery has been selected from a pool of over 80-candidates to head up Sandia’s activities.
