Las Cruces Honors Memory of El Paso Walmart Shooting Victims

The city of Las Cruces honors the memory of the El Paso Walmart shooting victims. Yesterday the city hung 23-orange ribbons on trees outside the entrance to city hall to honor the 23-victims who died August 3, 2019 from their injuries in the mass shooting at the Cielo Vista Walmart store. City council members observed a moment of silence at the start of their meeting yesterday morning. Las Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagashima said, “We hurt when our El Pasoan family, friends and neighbors hurt.”
