Former Priest Acquitted Of Kidnapping, Rape

A jury finds a former priest not guilty of kidnapping and rape charges.  Marvin Archuleta was acquitted by the Santa Fe jury on Tuesday.  The case had to do with the alleged kidnapping and rape of a six-year-old boy at a Catholic school in Santa Cruz, New Mexico more than 30-years ago.  The jury agreed with Archuleta’s attorney who argued his client was actually serving at a Silver Springs, Maryland parish at the time the victim claims he was attacked.
