El Paso Diocese Requires Employees to be Vaccinated

The Diocese of El Paso is requiring all employees be vaccinated against COVID-19. In a letter, Bishop Mark Seitz wrote that anyone who is unable to obtain a vaccination may seek an exemption. Seitz says parishioners who attend mass and other events would not be required to be vaccinated because most children would be excluded, since the vaccine is not yet available to them. Masks, however, are required for unvaccinated parishioners who are three years of age and older. The bishop says employees and Eucharistic members should do what they can to protect parishioners and each other.
