El Paso County Deputies On The Hunt For Parole Violator On The Loose

The El Paso County Sheriff’s office is hunting for a parole violator on the loose.  This week the Sheriff’s Office says Marcus Torres never showed up at a halfway house on Horizon Boulevard after his release on parole from the Baten Intermediate Sanction Facility in Pampa near Amarillo on January 30th.  He was last known to be at a house on Sanborn Street in Amarillo where corrections officials say they have detected that he cut off his ankle monitor.  An arrest warrant has been issued for Torres who was to have been on parole for a conviction of aggravated assault of two young boys.
