DACC RECOGNIZES FALL GRADUATES VIRTUALLY

Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is proud to announce a webpage dedicated to virtually honoring all 2020 fall graduates.

The webpage https://celebration.viewyour.photos/1bxwlgDvZR2EAJj is a display that includes the name, degree or certificate and photo (if provided) for each graduate.  The slides are downloadable for each graduate’s personal use.

In addition, the webpage offers congratulatory messages by both DACC President Dr. Monica Torres and Vice President for Students Services Ike Ledesma. This fall, DACC awarded more than 500 certificate and associate degrees to more than 500 students. Typically, DACC fall graduates are offered the opportunity to participate in spring commencement, however, the COVID-19 pandemic has afforded DACC the opportunity to acknowledge fall graduates with a virtual commencement.

“Graduation looked a little bit different for the class of 2020, but the DACC nursing program still made it just as special with a virtual pinning ceremony and a virtual graduation”, says recent DACC graduate Raquel Weatherly who received her Associate degree in Nursing. “What matters most to me is obtaining the degree and an exceptional foundation that will allow me to further my education.”
