Albuquerque Public Schools to Require Masks for All

The Albuquerque Public School board has voted to require all students, staff and visitors to wear masks indoors this fall, regardless of their vaccination status. The board voted five-to-one yesterday afternoon to follow the latest CDC guidelines for universal indoor masking for teachers, students, staff and visitors when inside school buildings. The American Academy of Pediatrics echoed the CDC’s recommendations. Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham also recommended New Mexicans wear masks indoors out of an abundance of caution.
