Rogen/Franco project may start a war?
This may be the first war started by a movie. We told you about the initial reaction from North Korea about the movie “The Interview,” but the government issued an official, and not surprisingly harsh, statement yesterday.
The movie stars Seth Rogen and James Franco as two journalists who are ordered by the CIA to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. According to the Associated Foreign Press, North Korea views “The Interview” as n “act of war.” ”The act of making and screening such a movie that portrays an attack on our top leadership… is a most wanton act of terror and act of war, and is absolutely intolerable,” the spokesman said, adding that the US would face a “resolute and merciless response” if it fails to ban the film.
